BIKING NELSON

Judson will take you on a 3-hour guided tour. The type of ride
will be tailored to suit the group. The
ride starts near the Cathedral at the top of Trafalgar Street and will follow
the Dunn Mountain trail that was built in 1862. A gradual climb takes you to a
point that overlooks Nelson City, the wharf and Tasman Bay. Bring a camera! |

COOKING TUTORIAL WITH KEVIN HOPGOOD

Hopgood’s is one Nelson’s premier dining venues, with an emphasis on seasonally based dishes with locally sourced ingredients. Kevin moved to Nelson in 1999, after many years working in London with chefs such as the Roux bothers and Elena Salvoni. He is a highly-rated chef. Click here for more info. This will be a relaxed 2-3 hour session, with the opportunity to participate and learn some new skills. Content will be guided by participants - if you sign up for this workshop, we will be in contact closer to the time to discuss - and might include chopping skills, fish filleting and pastry making. |

FISHING TRIP WITH SEABIRD CHARTERS

Set out to sea through beautiful Port Nelson, and catch some fish! Seabird Charters’ 13 metre alloy monohull boat has a sheltered cockpit, full galley, toilet and shower (in case you decide to go diving as well!). They know some great fishing spots. Blue cod, groper and snapper are the most common species to chase. |
